“Translating Imaging Physics to the Bedside”
THE BRITISH & IRISH CHAPTER OF ISMRM ANNUAL MEETING - CARDIFF, WALES, 2022
WORKSHOP
“Steps on the path to clinical translation” – 7th Sept
In this workshop, we will bring together key stakeholders from multiple disciplines: radiologists, radiographers, clinical physicists, consensus paper authors, vendors, imaging CROs, imaging networks, open science, standards agencies to discuss the clinical translation pipeline from MR physics to clinical roll out. What are the unmet clinical needs? What will and won’t work in clinical workflows? As a diverse community focussed on a wide range of different issues, how do we work effectively with each other for the benefit of all? The workshop will comprise inspiring presentations followed by a round table discussion on the key issues that need to be addressed with the aim of discovering potential solutions.
